How to find the serial number of Apple computer? Serial number of all the apple MacBook computers and iMac are clearly printed on the original packing of these products. In case you have lost the packing of your apple computer you can find the serial number printed on your buying receipt or on the surface of the iMac or other Apple computer. Alternately turn on your computer click on the apple logo in the right hand corner. Click on About this Mac. Here you will find a little pop up window displaying some important information i.e. Mac OS X version, and build of your Apple MacBook or iMac computer including the serial number. As shown in the screenshot you can see version 10.6.8 is shown. In order to find serial number and build of your apple macbook just click on the version 10.6.8 and it will display the serial number. Additionally you can always click on more info button at the bottom to get further details including the serial number of your computer.
